Like everything else from the 80s, I know more about it than the average cat, but I don't see where he 'smeared feces' on it - for one thing, a lot of the concepts used came much later (some in the 2000s). It's (beside the first two years, cuz I'm that old) always been =/=. I suppose this might be because MOTU wasn't my favorite thing as a kid, nor was it my least favorite thing. Masters of the Universe Revelation wasn't the best thing ever, but I don't feel like it was the worst thing ever. MOTU 2002 is still the best and I'm glad I can go back and watch it whenever I want. WFC isn't great by any means, but I don't have a visceral reaction to it, as I do for MOTU R, which is sad. MOTU Revelation was a much bigger budget, and KS used it to smear feces on everything that was MOTU.

The makers of WFC seemed to at least have genuinely wanted to tell a good story, but we're limited by Hasbro in budget, which only allowed for limited acting and writing talent, as well as animation. I found many aspects of the second part even more offensive than the first. And it is a much better show than any of the Netflix WFC trilogy. I, personally, no longer feel annoyed by it. He pretty much drove the story in G2, and everything the other Transformers did was a reaction to his actions.Īnd he completely wiped San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland off the face of the planet with 1 shot from his spaceship, just to show Prime he wasn't fucking around. He was more vicious and uninhibited in G2, whereas in ReGeneration One he was just another villain, easily dispatched after a few issues. Joe that explains why Megatron is now a green tank.Īs for Jhiaxus himself, his G2 version was much, much better and entertaining. G2 pretty much ignored what happened in G1 but if you want to get the proper start, you have to read the 4-issue crossover with G.I. ReGeneration One kept more of the details of the original series, as well as picked up the story from the end of Marvel issue #80.
